Angela Herbert-Hodges was born and educated in England.
She has resided in France, Spain, and Zimbabwe, eventually setting down roots in America. Most recently, she has resided on the Delmarva Peninsula, where she has become a widely recognised Artist.
Herbert-Hodges showed with the Touchstone Gallery in Washington DC for 6yrs. she has had 4 one-person shows in Washington DC. She has also had 2 one-person shows in New York City at the Chi'Gallery, Brooklyn,now Causey Contemporary Gallery.
Herbert-Hodges has been awarded membership in the Virginia Watercolor Society, and invited to show in the Easton Academy of Art, the Ward Museum of Art, and winning an award in the National Collage Society, as well as being accepted, into various National Juried shows. Her work offers glimpses into her deep interests, with Collaged studies of the Environment, and a large series of African Animals, with a focus on Rhinocerous and Elephants.
Herbert-Hodges is a Cordon Bleu Chef, and continues to practise the Culinary Arts.
She has also been a competitive Fencer for many years, whilst in UK and, winning a veterans USA title and representing America in Foil.
